Haroon Adeem graduated from Punjab University, Lahore and courses on TQM (Total Quality Management) and Communication Skills from Preston University Islamabad. He is author of 4 books those are included in the MSc Syllabus of Pakistan Studies, Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. One book of Punjabi Short Stories title “Kala Such” and Punjabi poetry titled “Maily Wich Gawachy Lok” are tran scripted in “Gur Mukhi” and published by Punjab University Patiala, India. He has the honor to receive lot of medals and awards such as Queens Cultural Network Peace Award from New York USA, Two Golden Jubilee Shields from Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation for Compeering and Literary Contributions, Gold Medal from the Government of Punjab for production of “Jamhoor Maila”, Quaid-e-Azam Gold Medal for the contributions in the field of journalism and literature, Akhtar Lahori award from 2nd International Punjabi Conference London, UK, Gold Medal by Academy of Litters on the event of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Pakistan and Human Rights Award and Service Shields for the services for Pakistan. He is presently working with Waqt TV as Investigative Producer/Anchor Person in Current Affairs. He is also regularly writing columns in leading country newspapers .

Qamar is a graduate with Electrical Engineering. Love to read and write, so 1978 he started writing weekly column on the telephone operating system in Akhbar-e-Khawateen, a weekly magazine of the Pakistan Press Trust’s Daily Mashraq, Lahore under the pen name of “Mahmood Anwar Ashi”. In 1982 his articles on telephone operating published in the shape of a book, which was his first book. Later on he became the permanent writer of Hamdard Kutab Khana, Lahore and The Choice Publication, Lahore who published his more than 60 books on different topics. He has the honour, that he wrote technical books in Urdu as well as in English. His several books are published at a time in Urdu and English for the reason that the people who do not able to read and write English language may benefit from Urdu. He is the first ever writer who started writing on Computer Technology and its operation in Urdu in Pakistan and his first book “The Master of Data Processing” was published in 1986 which was also copied in India. He also wrote books for the kids. There are two series of computer books. First one is consists on three (3) books and the other is on eight (8) books, both the series are available in Urdu and English and are for kids specially. He is a good Urdu poet. His several poems and ghazls have been published in the country’s leading newspapers and magazines. He also likes to write on religious, political & current affair’s matter and several articles have also been published in many leading newspapers, magazinesas & websites as well. He is a regular columnist of Daily Al-Jareeda, Lahore, Daily newsurdu.net, Daily Alqamar.org. BBConenet News and Weekly Mazdoor Jeddojudh & Monthly Political Scene.
