Akbar Alam presenting working with Daily Waqt as Head of Editorial and Quality Control Section. In 1970 he started his life as journalist from Daily Imroze and worked till retirement i.e. 1990. In Daily Pakistan he was active fellow of Mr. Zia Shahid’s (Chief Editor Daily Khabrain) newspaper launching team. In 1992 on the invitation of Mir Shakeel ur Rehamn (Editor-in-Chief Daily Jang) he joined Daily Jang as News Editor. In 2002 he started writing columns under the titleship of “Chaltey Chaltey” and his columns regularly published in Daily Khabrain, Daily Express and Daily Din as well. In January 2007 he was appointed Executive Editor of a newly published newspaper Daily Al-Jareeda and in October 2007 he joined Daily Waqt. Lot of his family members was also remained with the journalism.
