President
Born on 10th March, 1952, after securing 36th position in the Central Superior Services examination of 1975, he joined the Federal Government of Pakistan as a First Class Gazetted CSS Officer, and served the Federal Government until he was dismissed in 1982 on politically motivated charges. Though the cases against him were quashed by the Lahore High Court, Lahore with the remarks, published in the News International on 23rd September, 1999, “ the petitioner suffered for about two decades and the situation is highly deplorable and is strongly deprecated”, he did not request the Federal Government of Pakistan for reinstatement, instead he pursued the writing career that he had begun in 1984, with the publication of his first article “WAILS AND WEEPS” in the monthly CONTACT in June 1984. Since then he has regularly and irregularly written in different national dailies; PANOPTICA the book that carries all his English articles up to date is in print. In 1984 his three books, titled PEARLS, BEYOND THE MIST and PURSUIT, on what he calls social philosophy, were published. In 1992 his English poems were published under two titles BURNING SEA and SILENT MELODIES.
